Good Fun For All/All For Good & Fun

For the Folk in L.A. The L.A. folk, if you will:

(Flyer courtesy of my friend Silly Chris-Crash)

This is destined to be a night of splendor, so YOU, and maybe the person next to you, and the person behind them, should get your fanny to this event.

Especially if you...

LIKE FUN. All kinds. With all sorts of girls and boys with various lengths of facial/head/body hair.

(and if you don't, and are indeed an impenetrable one, please stay home.)

HAVE BEEN DYING TO WEAR that hideous Christmas sweater that either Grandma Mumford gave you back in '96 (and is somehow still kicking around in your ready-to-wear (someday) collection) or the one that you just bought last week at the GW.

*WANT to SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE IT COUNTS. You, the holiday giver, wants to hand over your hard-earned cash to the special hands of people who will take it and:

1. Support a great charity. In the case of this night, Doctors Without Borders.

Info: DWB is an international medical humanitarian organization, created by doctors and journalists that provides aid in nearly 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. In addition, they reserve the right to speak out to bring attention to neglected crises, to challenge inadequacies or abuse of the aid system, and to advocate for improved medical treatments and protocols;

2. Tickle your fancy with a cup or bottle of liquid: courage/solace/personality/whathaveyou.

And/Or

3. Provide you with an experience that might assist in the providing of a specific connection, wrapped up in a good time, that gets you in a wrestling match, with something wonderful, in a sea of unravelling red and green threads.

AND, AS A BONUS, YOU WILL ALSO GET to...

TURN INTO SOUND WAVES. There will be a stage, and on that stage will be some fine bands that definitely do not sound like Grandma getting run over by a reindeer. You can get a sneak preview by clicking on the band links below.

The Deadly Syndrome,
The Pity Party,
Happy Hallows,
and more!

Again, this is fun for all, and all for good and fun.

So DO IT:
Get your
sweater
do-good
drink
dance
social
and maybe even your
after-party

ON.
It is officially the time for holiday hottness.

Just be careful not to overheat, kids.
This be winter in L.A., and L.A. in winter, all this awesomeness, and those sweaters, are warm. Really, really warm.
